Sport and Exercise

We offer two spaces for hire: the main hall at a cost of £22 per hour; and the gallery at a cost of £15 per hour for new business for the first three months, and a standard cost of £20 per hour. These spaces are supported by LLanfoist Fawr Community Council.

  • The main hall has a heated wood floor, especially suitable for Yoga, Pilates and other fitness classes that include floor exercise. It offers large open space that would easily accommodate a class of up to 40 people, plenty of natural light and air conditioning. There is easy access to a kitchen and toilets. We have dance, Tang soo do, fitness, Pilates, yoga, sports clubs currently using this space.
  • The Gallery has a multipurpose floor, vaulted ceiling with noise suppressant ceiling panels. It is an excellent space for medium size classes of up to 20 people. It is currently used for martial arts, Karate, kettle bells and yoga classes. With a small galley kitchen and toilet facilities it is an excellent space suitable for almost any fitness class.

Arts and Performance

The main hall has a stage and a fully equipped kitchen area that serves the main hall via a hatch. This makes it safe and easy to offer refreshments at events.

  • Who is it for: Theatre groups, choirs, orchestras, exhibitions, photo shoots, film clubs and craft fairs.
  • Events and regular arts classes: The charity operating the hall holds a monthly firm night, regular quiz nights and fairs for Spring, Easter, Summer and Halloween. There is a weekly Ukulele group that uses the meeting room.  We have also hosted productions by the local drama group and Harp recitals.

Llanfoist Village Hall is owned and operated by a Charity Commission registered charity (1204311).  We are pleased to offer this modern community asset for all types of charitable events.
